Magic Nikon ViewFinder provides users with a precise framing preview tailored to their actual camera and lens setup, all conveniently accessible on your iPhone or iPad. This app effectively mimics the field of view of various Nikon digital cameras and lenses, proving to be a valuable tool for countless photography professionals during the preproduction phase.

It's important to note that this application functions solely as a stand-alone director's viewfinder and does not convert your Apple device into an external monitor. The presence of ad banners within the app can be disabled through an additional in-app purchase accessible in the 'About the App' menu.

Magic ViewFinder acts as a digital director's viewfinder, assisting users in visualizing the precise field of view for their upcoming shots. By selecting a camera from the menu and adjusting the focal length using the wheel, you can accurately anticipate your framing.

Magic ViewFinder offers options to simulate tele adapters or anamorphic optics on your chosen camera. Additionally, users can adjust the aspect ratio of the frame guide overlaid on their image from the menu. The application also enables the application of color presets (LUTs) to the live picture for a more refined final shot.

Users have the ability to capture images for future reference along with essential data such as focal length, date/time, and camera/lens details. During capturing, functions like exposure lock and AF activation can enhance control over your photos.

White balance settings are available in Auto, Locked, or Manual mode. If your actual camera's field of view exceeds that of your device's camera, 'padding' is intelligently added around the image by the application to compensate for this limitation.

For optimal use, ensure that your iPhone or iPad's position corresponds with the 'nodal point' of your real lens, typically positioned at the center of the optics.
